Herebook: Attendance Register

Roll call

• Four marks: Present, Absent, Late and Excused. One tap marks a person, and tapping the same mark again clears it
• "Mark everyone left as Present" fills in the rest after you have marked the few who are missing
• Long-press a name to add a note, such as "school event"
• Rows stay where they are while you mark them
• Rename the four marks to fit your class

Attendance rates

• This month's rate for each person and for the whole group, with a bar on the group list
• Rates by month for the last six months on each person's page
• Choose whether Late counts as Present and whether Excused is left out, or look at absences instead of a rate
• Cancelled sessions are kept but not counted

Rosters

• Paste a list of names, one per line, straight from a spreadsheet or a chat. Numbers and bullets are removed
• Or load a CSV file (the first column is the name), and get a sample CSV to fill in
• Copy names from another group for a new term or season
• Mark someone as paused or left: they drop out of roll call, and their past attendance stays

Your week

• Set meeting days and a usual time. On those days the group shows up under "Today" at the top
• Add a session for another day, give it a name like "Practice", and keep two sessions on the same day in time order

Saving and undo

• There is no save button. Every tap is saved right away
• Right after you delete a group, a person or a session, you can tap "Undo"
• Each time Herebook updates, it keeps a copy of your attendance book from just before the update on your phone, and you can go back to it in settings
• Backup to an encrypted file is free

• No account, no ads, no tracking
• Your rosters stay on your phone and work offline
