Letvy ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Letvy mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Display name (if provided)
- Authentication credentials (managed by Firebase Authentication)
1.2 Property and Financial Data
You may enter the following data into the App:
- Property information (address, type, area group, details)
- Investment information (purchase price, down payment, loan amount, interest rate, loan term, loan start date, current market value)
- Rent payment records
- Expense records and receipt images
- Investment simulation parameters
1.3 Locally Stored Data
The following data is stored only on your device (SQLite) and is not uploaded to our servers unless you enable encrypted cloud backup:
- All property and investment data listed in section 1.2
- Contractor/vendor contact information
- Tenant contact information (name, phone, email, messaging IDs)
1.4 Automatically Collected Information
- Device type and operating system version (for compatibility and support purposes)
- App crash and error logs (to improve stability)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality
- To authenticate your account
- To sync your data across devices (if cloud backup is enabled)
- To process subscription payments (via Google Play or Apple)
- To improve the App and fix bugs
- To send push notifications (rent payment reminders, if enabled)
3. Data Storage and Security
- All user data is stored locally on your device (SQLite). Cloud backups (Pro) are encrypted and stored in your own Google Drive (Android) or iCloud (iOS).
- Cloud backups are encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption before upload.
- Tenant and contractor data is stored locally on your device by default to protect personal information.
- Receipt images are stored locally; Pro users may optionally back up images to Google Drive or iCloud.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication - Account management and sign-in
- Firebase Cloud Messaging - Push notifications
- RevenueCat - Subscription management
- Google Play / Apple App Store - Payment processing
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only:
- With your consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights and safety
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from the App's Settings. Locally stored data (SQLite) is removed when you uninstall the App or manually delete it from Settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Letvy is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Export your data (CSV export available for Pro users)
- Withdraw consent
9. Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following additional provisions apply under GDPR and UK GDPR:
- Legal basis for processing: We process your personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the App's services), based on our legitimate interests (improving the App and ensuring security), and with your consent where required.
- International data transfers: Your data may be transferred outside the EEA/UK, including to Firebase (Google LLC). Such transfers are made with appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law.
- Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

10. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights:
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information (Note: We do not sell your personal information)
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
